National Bank of Oman (NBO) Introduces New Mobile App
National Bank of Oman (NBO) has introduced a new mobile application that allows customers to send and receive money using their mobile devices or tablets, with access to more than 7,000 bank branches. The service is provided through either bank transfer, a credit card, or a bill payment, with the exception of EZ Payments, which is available through a mobile phone number only.
To use this service, customers will need their personal mobile number. In addition, they will need to activate their account in the NBO application before using the service.
As soon as the customer is logged in, the service allows the customer to view his account balance and schedule repeat and/or schedule payments, with the exception of EZ Pay, which is only available through a mobile number. Customers can use the service to deposit and withdraw money into their accounts. It is not possible to schedule a wire transfer without a customer using their mobile number.
The service allows the customer to pay bills for a range of electric companies, water companies, internet service providers, and cable companies, with the exception of EZ Payments.
As NBO customers, they are provided with the facility to contact NBO to request a free account inquiry or report a problem, or request a service. The customers can also request a refund of the fees they have paid for a service that they are not satisfied with, with the exception of payment for the service itself.
National Bank of Oman (NBO) is the only bank in Oman that provides banking services to both local and foreign customers, including the introduction of the app.
